The one thousand year
reign and rule of Jesus Christ Part One
Revelation chapter
twenty is a very misunderstood chapter. I ended up splitting this subject into
four parts and hopefully you will be able to spiritually digest this very
important future reality. I quoted fifteen verses in the book of Revelation
which is what I called the introduction. Fifteen verses in this book could
intimidate some people but I believe this has been broken down very simple. Let
me just quote some verses in the Bible from the Old Testament that match
Revelation chapter 20: 1 - 15.
"There shall be
no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days:
for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred
years old shall be accursed." Isaiah 65:20. Wow if someone in this future
time period dies at one hundred years old that will be considered very young.
"And the LORD
shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and His
name One." Zechariah 14:9. His name is Jesus Christ.
(16) "And it
shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which come
against Je - ru'sa - lem shall even go up from year to year to worship the
King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. (17) And it
shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the rain. (18) And
if the family of E'gypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall
be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to
keep the feast of tabernacles. (19) This shall be the punishment of E' - gypt,
and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of
tabernacles. (20) In that day there shall be upon the bells of the horses,
HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the
bowls before the alter. (21) Yea, every pot in Je - ru'sa - lem and in Ju'dah
shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall
come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no
more Ca'naan - ite in the house of the LORD of hosts." Zechariah 14: 16 -
21.
Obviously the earth
will be in ruins after the seven year tribulation period but it will be
restored by Jesus Christ Himself. The quality of life will be better in this
future time frame. Satan will be bound for this one thousand year reign so he
will not be able to deceive the nations. The devil has promoted any program
that left God out but he will not be able to do this during this future time.
This is not to say there will not be any sin in this period because people will
still have a sin nature; however, there will be universal righteousness and
peace.
This is the end of
Part One so until Part Two know that God never meant for this subject to be
complicated. Be blessed and if you can read Part Two and Three.
