HOW TO BEAR FRUIT FOR CHRIST

Some Christians think that when they accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts their purpose was finished. They may not say it in so many words but I have heard people express their testimony," I gave my heart to the Lord 20 years ago" but their life is dry.
They don't do anything. These people should read the Bible and ask the Lord for help. I know it is not easy. Trust me I have been there and it is not fun.
When we have problems in our life serving the Lord is sometimes seen as, "Something extra." We don't have a whole lot of strength. When Jesus spoke to the seven churches and addressed Philadelphia He said, ..."For thou hast a little strength." Revelation 3:8.
Those who don't want to do anything for God without their conscience bothering them probably never got saved through Jesus Christ to begin with but if you are saved and find yourself feeling that way please fall down on your face before God and plead with Him so you can be the profitable servant.
We don't want to find ourselves in this place. "His lord answered and said unto him, thou wicked and slothful servant"... Matthew 25:26.
I know of a Christian who said  "I have two vices, I smoke and like one strong drink at lunchtime." She got saved years ago but was a little tipsy after lunch. She was a very nice person but wanted those two things. Before we are to hard on her we may want to look at our own life.
I still have known sins that I struggle with and I'm sure there are a couple of unknown sins but I am always trying to get right with God. Jesus knows our transgressions but He sees our heart.
I have seen churchgoers that were involved in everything when it came to programs. When we give so much service to God our relationship with Jesus Christ should be strong with love. When Jesus wrote to the seven churches in the book of Revelation He said to Ephesus, "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love." Revelation 2:4.
Jesus deeply cares about our personal relationship with Him and we must put Him first in our life. Anything including a problem we might have can cause our fellowship with God to go sour because it could be an idol in our life.
I know because I have been there and it is a very deep valley. Try serving Jesus Christ in that state and see how effective you are for the kingdom of God.
Many people today are pretty much like the Pharisees of the first century. They said a lot of repetitive prayers so they could be heard, they gave their money out of their abundance and took the front seats at important gatherings; however, Jesus knew their hearts and called them hypocrites.
Praying to God is good, giving money for the work of the Lord is good or sitting in the house of God is good but it was their motive. It was not for God. They did it for themselves. Did you ever notice we get ourselves in so much trouble before God when self is on the throne of our heart?
Here is one of the greatest problems I see in the world today. Most religions are corrupt because they are a buildup of works without Jesus Christ. They think that works in and of itself is bearing fruit for God. When we give an account of our life to Jesus Christ it is not going to be what we did for God but why we did what we did for God. The right motive with works in the Person of Jesus Christ is what is going to give us a passing grade. What if I'm off one day? Talk to God about it and let Him put you back on track.
Works is good but it has to be with the motive of love for God and people. True fruit bearing is because we have the grace of God working through our hearts.
If good works could get us into heaven then Jesus Christ did not have to die on the cross. He died for sinners and took our place. The Bible says it is ... “Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:9.
If a man knows his neighbor is in the hospital and does not go see him because he is painting the church then why can't he do a little bit of both? People get confused and that is understandable but we can't let it harden our heart. A widow with many needs is overlooked because the person is to busy fellowshipping with church members but why can't we do a little bit of both?
Right in our neighborhood we can find people who need Jesus Christ but chances are nobody has really shared the gospel with them. They may have heard about the whole thing but did we really have a heart to heart with them? At the very least say something because their eternity is at stake.
How can we know what fruits are pleasing to God? ” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, Goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23.
None of the above has anything to do with works. When we look at these fruits we should strive to be more like Jesus and less of ourselves should be in our heart. This is hard because it is not easy for us to step outside of ourselves.
Being kind to people, helping somebody in need, listening to a person when they are down or sharing the gospel are a few examples of love. In my personal life I have had a need for almost fifteen years and nobody has ever been able to help me.
Some just don't want to and some don't know how but I am an example. I will leave the content a mystery because this problem could be misunderstood. It is hard and lonely and if I'm not careful I could take it personal. “Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” John 15:8. When we were saved we were called to be disciples. We are followers of Jesus Christ.
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. "John 15:5.
God is in the process of changing our old man into the new man. We become more like Jesus Christ Himself. A dramatic transformation takes place in our life. The Holy Spirit is living inside of us and working on us which can be very painful. In the middle of all the hurt we can not be the unprofitable servant. A weak vessel for Jesus Christ tends to be the most effective gift for someone else on the receiving end but the blessing comes back to us.
We need to be like Peter who used his bad experience in denying Jesus Christ, feeling all the pain, repenting before God and reaching out to other people in service to Him. He used the bad in his life and turned it around to help a host of needy souls. If we hid our talents in fear because of the bad experiences we had/have in life then we are not obeying God.
If Jesus Christ gave us a talent we can not hid it but give it away with the motive of loving God and helping other people even with all the pain we may have inside our hearts. This is how God designed the process of serving Him so the only wise response is to obey God in service to Him. Take a deep breath and move forward in the will of God.
Then we will be the profitable servants and bear fruit for God because we are giving rather than hiding our talents. If we are doing this for Jesus Christ then less temptations of sin will come into our life and more of the fullness of the Holy Spirit will be in our hearts because we are obeying God. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ into your heart then I encourage you to do so, not only for your eternal salvation but for the purpose of bearing fruit for God.

NOTE: When writing about God and Jesus, The Daily Jot means YHVH as God and Yeshua Ha Mashiach as Jesus--the actual original names and the true nature and character of them.

FBI confirms IS at the border, White House in denial

Despite constant denials from the "president" and his administration
that the Islamic State is a threat, indications are quite the opposite.
Beginning 18 months ago, The Daily Jot reported that IS operatives were
setting up camp just 8 miles south of El Paso, Texas. Several
sources, including the watchdog group Judicial Watch, law enforcement
, and various state and government officials all confirmed that IS was
operating in conjunction with the Juarez Cartel, a human and drug
trafficking gang. Now Judicial Watch reports that the stories are confirmed
by a captured IS operative in Ohio, even still the White House denies the
presence of IS and its infiltration of the Southern US Border.

On April 15, 2015, The Daily Jot quoted Judicial Watch, "Mexican intelligence
sources report that ISIS intends to exploit the railways and airport facilities
in the vicinity of Santa Teresa, NM (a US port-of-entry). The sources also
say that ISIS has "spotters" located in the East Potrillo Mountains of New
Mexico (largely managed by the Bureau of Land Management) to assist
with terrorist border crossing operations. ISIS is conducting reconnaissance
of regional universities; the White Sands Missile Range; government facilities
in Alamogordo, NM; Ft. Bliss; and the electrical power facilities near Anapra
and Chaparral, NM." Fast forward to today.

Amidst White House denials of IS at the border, there is an arrest in Ohio.
35 year old Erick Jamal Hendricks was arrested last week and charged
with conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic state. The
Department of Justice (DOJ) says in its complaint that Hendricks
created a sleeper cell with at least ten members and that some of his
jihadist "brothers" are just south of the US border in Mexico. The
complaint says Hendricks tried to "recruit people to train together and conduct terrorist attacks in the United States." One of those recruits confirmed that IS had people across the border in Mexico and they were likely connected to the Garland, Texas terrorist attack in May 2015.

Some 18 days after Judicial Watch exposed, and The Daily Jot reported, that there was an IS terrorist cell 8 miles from the US border, the Garland, Texas attack occurred. Now a DOJ arrest and affadavit confirms a connection between IS in Mexico and this terrorist attack in the US. But the White House is still in denial. The "president" and the current Democratic candidate for President, Hillary Clinton, both are on the same page when it comes to immigration, border security and the Islamic State. Why are these leaders intent on denying that IS is using Mexico as a staging ground for attacks in the US? Will Clinton protect our national security? As Jesus said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you."
Have a Blessed and Powerful Day!

THE MAGNIFICENCE Of GOD GRACE

I am going to do my best to explain the magnificent grace of
God that every Christian receives through Jesus Christ when
we received salvation from our sins.

We will never understand the grace of God in full until we are
in Heaven with Him but even in Paradise it will be a progressive
revelation. "That in the ages to come He might show the
exceeding riches of His grace in His Kindness toward us
 through Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:7.

When we got saved God did all the work through our
faith in Jesus Christ. We were dead in our sins,
completely lost and on our way to Hell. Do you really
think anybody in this condition is fit for the Kingdom
 of Heaven?

It is like a person on drugs who says he or she can
stop anytime without any help but that is a small
example compared to what Jesus Christ did for the
lost when He saved us from our sins. I don't know
all the things God delivered me from when I received
the good news of the Gospel.

The Holy Spirit opened up our spirit by taking the
blinders off our eyes and then we accepted Jesus Christ
into our hearts as our Savior and Lord.

Unfortunately, most people reject Jesus Christ
because the world loves darkness rather than Light
. "(19) And this is the condemnation, that light is
come into the world, and men loved darkness rather
than light, because their deeds were evil. (20) For

every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither
cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
 (21) But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that

his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought
 in God. John 3:19-21.

When a person receives Jesus Christ into his/her heart
a powerful change takes place. That person is regenerated
by the Holy Sprit. This is where the grace of God transform
s hearts, lives, responses, the way we think, the way we treat
each other and so many other virtues that come out of us
because of the grace of God.

This principle does not just apply to our friends but our
 enemies
(people that just don't like us and want to inflict injury).
God will
give supernatural assistance (Grace) to us in all these
situations including our relationship with Him.

Does this mean that our troubles are over and life will
be good? The answer to that question is no. There is
something about life and trouble that go hand in hand.
In this day in age life is very rarely good but we have the
grace of God through His Son Jesus Christ. God works in
our life to refine us but at the beginning, middle and end
os His wonderful Grace.

We will have trials and tribulations but God has a reason
for everything if you are His child.

By the grace of God we are able to fight the evils in our life
because without the love of God we would just go deeper
into sin. Do you see why the grace of God makes a difference
as opposed to us going our own way in life?

Life is not fair and neither is eternity. You may ask
, "What do you mean by that statement? If we go to
heaven it is only because of the grace of God though
our faith in Jesus Christ. If we go to Hell justice is being
 executed.

There is a difference between the words justice and
fairness. Don't seek fairness, search for Jesus Christ
who sees everything, knows our lives perfect and is
willing to impart His grace in our hearts.

This world is run by Satan. "In whom the god of this
world hath blinded the minds of them which believe
not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who
is the image of God, should shine unto them
." 2 Corinthians 4:4.

The poor are unjustly treated, jobs are being taken
from the middle class and the list could go on and on
(the rapture of the Church) and the grace of God keeps
us until that wonderful day when we will be with Jesus
Christ forever. We are called to occupy until He comes
but that can only be done through His indwelling grace.

If a man severely breaks his leg and goes to the hospital
he might need several weeks of rehabilitation and rest.
There will be people trained in that field to help him
recover and get back on his feet. God works in a simila
r way. Jesus saved us past tense but is still saving us in
the present tense. We need His sustaining grace everyday.

He comforts our hearts with His grace and then guides
us through life to bring His children to a level that is His
will but contrary to what most people think there is
usually pain involved in this process because we have to grow.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is perfect and He does not make any mistakes.
I know I do and am still paying the price for them but we can be at peace
knowing that we serve a God who understands everything about us
with love.

" And we know that all things work together for good to them that love
God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28.
I know this verse involves the ability of God which is flawless but it is
 always accomplished through His grace.

Trying to live in the will of God is difficult because this is an evil world and
sometimes we are persecuted on all sides. All to often it is not easy for us but
isn't it comforting to know we have the grace of God working through us in ou
r daily living? Ask God for His love everyday.

Paul was an Apostle. He was chosen by God to do a ministry. He did not hav
e a easy time but was on fire for the Lord. How could anybody say this was not
one of the greatest conversions of the grace of God through Jesus Christ?

When Paul was converted to Jesus Christ he was filled with the Holy Spirit
by the grace of God as opposed to hating Christians. His testimony was changed
and people including Christians were amazed at what God did in the life of this
man. This is the grace of God.

"But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed
upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not
 I, but the grace of
God which was with me." 1 Corinthians 15:10.

"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may
rest upon me." 2 Corinthians 12:9.

In these final days before the rapture of the Church true born again Christians
can walk with God boldly and have no fear because we serve the one true God
who will look after us with His amazing grace.
