"An altar of earth you shall make for Me" (Exodus 19:21) Shevat 19, 5776/January 29, 2016
The
revelation at Mount Sinai, G-d's first and only direct,
unfettered, unobscured, unfiltered verbal communique with the nation
of Israel, or any other nation, for that matter, was long in the making. In
fact, our sages tell us, creation itself was only a prelude, a dry run, a
setting of the stage for this once in an eternity event. After reemerging
from a hidden place of obscurity from which He could not be seen during the
early stages of the Israelite exile and enslavement in Egypt, to His
burning bush appearance before Moshe, to His "behind the curtain"
administration of the ten plagues that wreaked havoc on Egypt and forced
the hand of Pharaoh and hardened his heart against his own will,
G-d is now "stepping out" for the first since "the voice of
HaShem G-d" (Genesis 3:8) stepped forth into
the Garden of Eden in search of Adam, the first
man.
G-d's preparations for His Sinai appearance before the
people were elaborate. The choice of Mount Sinai, the cordoning off of the
mountain before Israel, the lightning and thunder, the trumpet blasts,
impenetrable fog and smoke, were all G-d's chosen backdrop and
setting for His clear and instantaneous enunciation of the Ten Commandments
to Israel, G-d's proposal of eternal matrimony with Israel, as
it were. It wasn't an offer that Israel couldn't refuse, but had Israel
( G-d forbid) refused it, G-d would have rolled
back all of creation to the dawn of time. The purpose of creation would
have been daunted and G-d's will, as it were, would have been
stymied.
As we
all know, Israel, which had only reluctantly received Moshe's
delivery of G-d's first message of imminent redemption, and
had watched in silent awe the miracles G-d wrought in Egypt,
who momentarily lost heart standing before the Sea of Reeds, who cried out
bitterly in hunger and thirst, who questioned at times G-d's
intentions and even His abilities, and expressed pains of remorse, longing
to return to an idealized recollection of an Egypt that they had only left
weeks before, heard and saw, received and accepted and embraced with all
their united heart and soul, every word and nuance and import and
responsibility expressed and implied in G-d's Sinai message to
them.
And
then the moment in eternity concluded, the thunder and the shofarot
(rams horns) subsided, the lightning flashes dimmed, and just before the
awesome terrifying immediacy of G-d's immeasurable nearness
began to recede and the children of Israel began to literally return to the
normal functioning of their senses, G-d , in loving
anticipation of Israel's next question, commanded Israel, "An altar of
earth you shall make for Me, and you shall slaughter beside it your burnt
offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your cattle. Wherever I
allow My name to be mentioned, I will come to you and bless you."
(Exodus 19:21)
Without
a doubt, Israel's consuming concern in the immediate aftermath of Sinai
was, 'if You, G-d , needed to create so elaborate a setting to
speak to your children Israel, how can we ever be able to call upon You as
You have called to us?' 'You will draw near and reach Me,' G-d
replied, 'through the bringing of offerings upon an altar which you shall
make, the work of your hands and the deepest expression of your hearts, and
"I will come to you and bless you."
'Just
as I made man by gathering indistinguishable, mute and unintelligible
grains of earth, so shall you make an altar of the most humble and
insignificant element, and I will bless it, so that it will become for you
a mouth that expresses all the thoughts and prayers that you wish to share
with Me.'
Israel
would immediately take up G-d's offer, building the simple
altar He described the moment He would command the building of His
Sanctuary, the chosen place for the altar. The desert Tabernacle would
become, in time, the Tabernacle of Shiloh, and the other cities in which it
rested throughout Israel's first centuries in the land, and the pure and
untainted by "hewn stones, lest you wield your sword upon it and
desecrate it" (ibid 19:22) altar would be ultimately be established in
Jerusalem, the place G-d chose to establish forever His Holy
Temple. It is this "altar of earth" that we long to rebuild today, a place
and a platform to reestablish with the G-d of Sinai the
intimacy we all experienced first hand when we stood as one people at the
foot of the mountain and G-d told us, for once and forever,
"I am HaShem, your G-d, Who took you out of
the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." (ibid
20:2)

THE GOVERNMENT RETURN AND THE PERFECTION OF 12
THE GOVERNMENT RETURN AND PERFECTION OF 12 PART ONE
The
number 12 in the Bible stands for governmental perfection from the book
of Genesis all the way through the book of Revelation. It is the last
of the four perfect numbers in the Bible and rightfully so because it is
the most meticulous in form. Most people get intimidated as they study
this number in the Bible (including myself) because God is so much
bigger than man.
As
the corruption of mankind reaches an all time high the divine
governmental perfection (12) of Jesus Christ intervenes and goes to
battle against evil with a vengeance.
What I am going to do is give a little background on the meaning of this number from a biblical point of view.
I
had to take a step back as I studied the meaning of this number in
definition and context. The reason why I did this is because in the
middle of all the detail in "12" it is easy to forget that God is love
and His governmental system is perfect.
I
would prefer to write this article more in the form of encouragement
rather than knowledge because I see many wounded discouraged Christians
that just want to be with the Lord. We are going in the rapture very
soon. I just don't exactly know when this event will take place.
It
is comforting to know that we are going home to be with Jesus Christ
who is love and always has our best interest in mind. In a world that is
the antithesis of what I just described the "Good News" that I am going
to explain will be encouragement and exhortation for you in your heart.
This
number is so perfect that there are 22 chapters in the book of
Revelation each corresponding to the 22 letters in the Hebrew Alphabet.
The number 12 is mentioned 22 times in the book of Revelation. The Bible
is showing us that the government of God is perfect and will be a
reality because our Lord and Savior is Complete in His administration.
He always carries out perfection regardless as to how much evil is in
this world.
The
number 12 is the signature of Israel. God will end His program with
this country. Jesus Christ chose 12 Apostles. He said,"Verily, I say
unto you, that ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the
Son of man shall sit in the throne of His glory,ye also shall sit upon
twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Matthew 19:28.
This will only happen because of a divine appointment from God (12).
Most
of the articles I read on Christian end time prophecy websites are
about corrupt government but according to the Bible God is going to keep
all of His promises. We will be His followers in the divine government
of Jesus Christ (12) with perfect love and no disobedience. Can you
imagine how this wonderful truth about heaven and our future will play
out in a sinless reality surrounded by the presence of Jesus Christ?
We
live in a world when sometimes we cannot even look at our leaders
because they are so corrupt but we will be serving Jesus Christ who
always says, does and executes perfect administration "All" of the time.
In our present era our leaders cannot even agree on anything yet this
world is striving toward utopia in a one world government without
God.That is pretty ironic when we think about what I just said.
The
Holy Spirit is so clear regarding the meaning of this number 12. The
book of Revelation says "And had a wall great and high, and had TWELVE
gates, and at the gates TWELVE tribes of the children of Israel."
Revelation 21:12.
Verse
13 talks about these gates on the east, north, south and the west.
3x4=12. If you stop to think about this,3 (the number of divine
completion) x 4 (the number of the world) =12 (divine perfection).
According to Revelation chapter 21 God is going to bring heaven down to
earth and make it perfect.God is going to divinely complete (3) the
world (4) into His divine government (12). These numbers are from God.
No human being could have designed this system.
The
math is perfect because God designed a flawless biblical numeric system
as a witness of His divine authority and government. If one were to
read further down in this particular passage the Bible says, "And the
wall of the city had TWELVE foundations, and in them the names of TWELVE
apostles of the Lamb."Revelation 21:14.
The
rest of the passage gets very detailed with the number 12. Even the
foundations of the wall of the city will be garnished with all names of
heavenly precious stones. Then the Bible mentions the 12 foundations.
If
that were not enough the book of Revelation says,"And the TWELVE gates
were TWELVE pearls, every several gate was of one pearl: and the street
of the city was pure gold,as it were transparent glass." Revelation
21:21. The Bible is very clear that God is going to transform this
corrupt world into divine perfection (12).
As
I read all the way down to the end of the chapter I understand some of
the mathematical significance as to why the Holy Spirit talks about the
sun and the moon.
A
circle of 12 x 30 = 360 governs a COMPLETE year of 12 months. Here we
see that God put His signature of His divine government in the sky.
Both
the sun and moon have to travel through the TWELVE signs of the Zodiac
which completes a circle in the heavens. This happens because the oldest
book in the Bible says,"Can you direct the signs of the Zodiac?" Job
38:32.This is the Creation of God.
Presently
the sun has to go through the 12 signs of the Zodiac. According to
Revelation chapter 21 God is going to COMPLETE His perfect divine
government through His Son Jesus Christ. There will be no need for the
sun or moon. "(22) And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God
Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. (23) And the city had no
need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it: for the glory of God
did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (24) And the nations
of them which are saved shall walk in the light if it: and the kings of
the earth do bring their glory and honor into it." Revelation
21:22-24.The glory of Jesus Christ will not be clouded in any way shape
or form.
The
temple of Solomon had more twelve's in it than any other number. This
represented perfect administration. You may be able to feel the heart of
God because holiness rather than corruption is the divine government
(12) of heaven. God is clearly trying to make a statement about His
perfection which comes straight from His attribute of Holiness. This is
mentioned more times than the love of God in the Bible; however, because
of these two attributes we will be drawn to Jesus Christ in a very
strong way for all eternity.
One
of the biggest truths for me is Jesus Christ made His first public
appearance when He was twelve. I would often ponder if this represents
the general age of accountability for a child being responsible before
God. Jesus separated from his parents and went to the temple. This is
just something to think about in this passage. He was 12 years old and
the story speaks of divine administration or seeking the authority of
His Father (12). On issues like this all we can do is pray and think
about it because a fact is something that is dogmatic.
Of
course there have been a couple of articles written depicting that
there are 12 stones in the breastplate of the High Priest. Jesus Christ
is our High Priest. He is our perfect divine government.
The
United States still has 12 people on a jury when a legal case is
presented to them. Somehow our country recognized that TWELVE is
associated with governmental perfection. Did the inventors of this legal
system get this from the Bible?
When
Israel was delivered from Egypt the Bible says,"And they came to Elim,
where were twelve wells of water" which tells me that the timing of God
was not only perfect but full of mercy. As children of the Most High we
must always understand this and cry out to God for compassion.
As
I look back on my life God allowed me to linger in my pain. It was so
He could refine me. Suffering is a gift from God that nobody wants. This
involves the Triune divine government of God and we just have to trust
our Savior with all our heart. Comfort comes from God through His
supernatural peace and love.
When
Elijah built an alter of TWELVE stones he was involved in a standoff of
what government was true and real. Of course the story goes on to
prevail that there is only one true God who is the Creator of the
universe.
When
Pilate seized Jesus Christ with human authority our Savior told him
..."That he could have no power, or authority against Him except it were
given to him from above." John 19:11. If one were to go to the Greek
version, Jesus spoke TWELVE words to Pilate showing that true power and
authority come from God. This tells me that heaven is above every
corrupt decision on earth. That would have to be good news for anybody
reading this article.
Even
something as small as writing could be applicable to the point I am
trying to make. On the one hand when I write about a particular subject
there is left brain logic. On the other hand there is no left brain
logic (reason). Often times when I start to write God will not allow me
to continue. The will (divine government) of God is mysterious and
perfect.
The governmental return and perfection of twelve Part Two (2)
If
there is one thing I have observed in this world it is people get very
frustrated with the divine government of God. Even when I am giving
people the salvation message or tell them how to get to heaven through
Jesus Christ it amazes me that so many individuals want to talk about
the Indian in the desert. I guess the Indian in the desert is more
important to them than their own salvation through Jesus Christ! They
seem to want to go to the subject of ignorance but as I really think
about this salvation is all about choice.
That is what Romans
chapter one talks about in relation to one's salvation. God knows all
about the Indian in the desert. According to Romans chapter one any
individual old enough should recognize God through His Creation if he or
she is looking." (19) Because that which may be known of God is
manifest in them: for God hath showed it unto them,(20) for the
invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power
and Godhead; so that they are without excuse." Romans 1:19-20.
Why is it that when
we go through suffering ten more pounds comes our way? Then when we get a
break 20 more pounds comes into our life. These refinement trials could
be from God and they do weigh very heavy on our heart. He knows best
because His divine government is perfect. We are being conformed to the
image of Jesus Christ. This is happening to more and more true
Christians because the rapture is very close.
I could turn this
around the other way. Every once in a while we will just cry out to God
to heal us from our suffering. There are moments He will say "No" but
sometimes He will give us His mercy. Can we understand this?
"And a certain
women, which had an issue of blood TWELVE years." Mark 5:25. I asked
you, "Can we understand this?" I can grasp some of the reasoning but I
believe this passage gives me some insight.
The whole story is
about the women's suffering for TWELVE years. Her suffering, her faith
and the virtue of God bestowed upon her. TWELVE years. Do you get the
impression that God is trying to show us something about His divine
government and authority (12)? This account shows us our faith through
suffering. The story seems to symbolize the divine government of God.
(2) Her faith through suffering. (3) The virtue of God.
We need to
understand that the will of God (divine government) uses suffering so we
will choose to have faith in Him and seek His Virtue. There is not only
good news in this story but the TWELVE years of suffering is God's way
of saying that this pain the women endured was the will of God. In the
end she did receive the kindness of God! Praise the Lord!!! We are
Christians. This story is our life. There is a purpose behind our
hardships.
We live in a corrupt
world. I have worked in the same job for almost 30 years. I must have
been through 60 to 75 bosses. Most of them had a selfish corrupt agenda.
When we were due for a new boss all the employees would squirm and try
to find out who the new bread supervisor would be and what his or her
history was in treating the workers.
Even the
unregenerate look for fairness and righteousness. This is why I believe
the antichrist is going to be so accepted. He will come across with good
qualities. The world is more ready for this man to rule them than at
any other point in the history of mankind.
We have the good
news because Jesus Christ is coming very soon. Would you rather be under
the rule of Jesus Christ or the antichrist? The choice is up to you.
"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout." The rapture is just about to take place. If you have not
accepted Jesus Christ into your heart time is running very short for you
to make this decision. This is an eternal decision and a necessary
choice for you to be part of the rapture. When people listen to me in an
apathetic way regarding this issue I don't believe they understand how
horrible the 7 year tribulation is going to evolve into as the judgments
are pronounced from heaven.
We could be taken up
at any moment in the rapture. Thank God we have a Savior and Lord that
offers us hope. His name is Jesus Christ and the rapture is certainly
our Blessed Hope!
BOB D.
The righteous return of Jesus Christ
I
have had the privilege of studying and analyzing each number very
slowly from a biblical perspective and have indeed learned more than I
ever could have imagined. I was able to apply each number practically
but also showed how some numbers related to end time biblical prophecy
and current events.
I
am now at the ordinal perfection of ten and the righteous return of
Jesus Christ. Perhaps I can give some good news to the soon to be
rapture of the Church in light of the bad news regarding a few dear
beloved Christians that just passed on to be with the Lord. When a godly
person dies it always makes me think of my faith in Jesus Christ and
the reality of eternity.
Ten is a very interesting number in the Bible because it speaks of an entire cycle being completed (1 through 9).Ten is the third of the four perfect numbers in the Bible (3,7, "10" and 12).
Ten is a very interesting number in the Bible because it speaks of an entire cycle being completed (1 through 9).Ten is the third of the four perfect numbers in the Bible (3,7, "10" and 12).
If
one were to add 3+7(the first two perfect numbers in Scripture) he or
she would conclude that 10 would be the answer. The first perfect number
(3) added to the second perfect number (7) equals the third perfect
number (10). 3+7=10.
I start to see a divine design right from the beginning. There is a sense of completion in the biblical meaning of this number and it certainly follows the same theme starting from the book of Genesis all the way through the book of Revelation.

Hopefully
one will look at perfection from heaven rather than some so called
earthly sense of accomplishment. In fact it is kind of interesting to me
that 4+6=10. 4 (the world) +6 (evil) =10.Remember in the first
paragraph I showed you this heavenly perfection of the number ten.3
(divine completion) +7(spiritual perfection) =10 (ordinal perfection).
If you were to talk to a carnal person that is so preoccupied with the world he or she would rather relate to 4 (the world) +6 (evil) =10.This is the result of the world (4) and evil (6) gathering together to form a corrupt law (10). It just goes to show you that people have a choice as to how they are gong to look at ordinal perfection.

One
view is from God Himself (3+7=10) and the other is from the backdrop of
a corrupt world (4+6=10). This is exactly what I see when I study the
subject of end time Bible prophecy in connection with the number 10.
Jesus Christ in all of His Pureness presents some truths regarding this
number and then there is the distorted version of ten on this planet.
The number 10 means ordinal perfection from God. Five is the number for grace. If you were to add 5+5=10. Ten stands for testimony. We are now twice as responsibly for the grace that God has given to us. This is a difficult task to maintain because we are only human but we do have Jesus Christ living inside of us.
Luke 19 portrays "10" servants with "10" pounds but only one was able to be responsible and accountable to the call. He was rewarded by ruling over "10" cities. We can only do this because we have the love and resurrection power of Jesus Christ working through us. The other nine laborers for our Savior probably tried to do this in their own strength. It makes me think. True testimony comes from grace not works or merit.
Ten originates from God. From the 10 plaques in the Old Testament to the 10 virgins in the New Testament. I don't believe anyone can truly understand end time Bible prophecy unless they realize that the biblical meaning of ten means the law of God.

People
always rebel against this and as a result the soon to be 7 year
tribulation will start because the war between man and God comes to the
surface in a very strong way according to the Bible.
The
truth comes out and judgment is exacted by God on this planet as time
progresses. "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these
plaques yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should
not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone,
and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk." Revelation
9:20. The wrath of God would cease if man repented but this verse is
saying that people will continue to rebel against God, His law and
reject His grace.
This is a short article with
no Part Two because we had several computer crashes and were unable to
retrieve many of the full articles. If you look at the last paragraph I
said as a basic reality people will rebel against God and not honestly
repent of their sins before God but that does not have to be us . Our
first call in these last days is to be ready for the rapture of the
Church so we won't have to go into the seven year tribulation period. I
don't know about you but I have a hard time just getting through the age
of grace which is the time period we are living in now and cannot even
imagine going into the next dispensation which starts with the seven
year tribulation. We should be living for God everyday as we watch for
His return for His Church better known as the bride of Jesus Christ. Not
every Christian is doing this and some are so bold as to say I really
don't even care. Do you think they are going up in the rapture? I don't
believe they are because God will honor their will. The Bible says we
should be watching and ready.
In these very last moments we
have left in this age of grace let us be in the will of God and watch
for His return as we prepare ourselves to be right with God . To do this
we have to obey God and live pure. To watch and be ready for the
Blessed Hope which is the rapture of the Church is a wonderful pursuit
that should be the first concern of our life. May the Lord bless us as
we live for Him because time is so short.

DARKNESS SURROUNDS ME!
Darkness Surrounds me
I
look around me and see the darkest hours of my life. Sin prevails
everywhere in our government, in our schools and at the
workplace. Christians are being tossed to and fro by Satan on every
side. They are truly abused and miserable in their jobs with no way out
until they are old enough to retire.
I
see my daughter just exhausted after a days work. I know I was in much
better shape at her age. She has to stay and rest on Saturday to get her
energy back. She works overtime daily and gets paid for eight hours.
She works longer to make tomorrow easier. I do not even remember
worrying about tomorrow. When my day was over I was done . When the week
was finished I had two days off to do everything else I needed to do. I
was not as exhausted because of the time era that I was living in at
that time.
It is frightening what the world is doing and how Satan manipulates things.
I
always had time. The clock is speeding so fast. Where was yesterday? Do
not even think about tomorrow because evil is surrounding us. Jesus
told us not to be fearful of the future.
We
have a socialist for President and also a new possible leader that may
win the election that holds the same ideology. This is truly amazing
that people would even consider voting for this person. We seem to think
that money grows on trees.
My
brothers and sisters in the Lord, how many of you have friends that
just stop by for a cup of coffee in the morning, afternoon or a short
visit in the evening. People in many places are afraid to leave their
homes because our streets are not safe. At night gangs roaming just
looking for a place to start something.
We used to walk around my neighborhood anytime. Now we walk during the day and if gloomy then most people stay in their homes.
I
look at the wars going on in the middle East and I realize this is
Ishmael against Isaac. Isaac is the promised Son that Father Abraham was
willing to sacrifice for God. He then told Abraham I will provide the
sacrifice. I wonder how many look at the cross and see Jesus looking at
them in the eyes. It was not the Romans that crucified Jesus, it was not
the Jews that crucified Jesus because it was my sins and yours that put
Jesus on that Cross. We crucified the King of Kings and the Lord of
Lords and still today in most places He is not welcome in our
Government, our schools, our homes or our towns. Pull down the cross
and put up something Muslim. Let the Muslim children pray 5 times in
school with their prayer rugs and their Books but do not let the child
bring a Bible to School. They could get kicked out.
When
I was first saved in 1972 we went from Church to church for revivals.
They were all saying the same thing and we went as often as we could.
The pastors were not up there saying that they need more money. You owe
me our tithe. Tithes were only for the Priests in the Old Testament.
They were not valid in the New Testament as we no longer have
a Priesthood.
God
told us in 1 Corinthians Chapter 16 where and how we are to give and it must be done joyfully. They
did not have
churches in the Apostles time and they never charged anyone to tell them
the Gospel. Jesus said Freely receive, freely give but man in his greed
started charging to preach to the people. This is so sad. We are to
meet the needs of our fellow Christians. Try to go to a church and for
the most part nobody will see this biblical principle being applied for
brothers and sisters in Christ. Jesus must drop His head and sob at our
lack of caring for the brethren. Where is our love? We are suppose to
stand for just love not hate not competing. Just love. My oldest son
taught me Mom, Jesus is just love. Love the sinners more, love your
brethren more. Do not judge but Love. It was a gut punch because all I
ever saw in him was that love. I pray that is all he sees in me now.
What
is Church? Who gets the glory? Who gets the praise? Look at the
terrible music that gives people a headache. It is not worship to God
which should be so precious in our hearts. They should not be shouting
music to believers in Christ. They should be giving glory to God.
I
am trying to sound warnings as I want the Church to be
Alive, Thriving, preaching and giving Jesus the Glory. Christians should
not be worried if the church service is over in a hour. Please take a
moment to think. Where does Jesus really start and stand in my life? Do I
give time for His Glory? Remember that we will kneel at His feet and
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The judgment and objective good of nine Part One
The
biblical meaning of the number 9 is very intense but necessary for our
lives because God is Sovereign and we are not. In simple terms God knows
what is best for our lives and we don't understand objective good from a
divine point of view.
Bob D
If
we are a true authentic Believer in Jesus Christ then that point I just
made is paramount to understanding how the number 9 applies to our
life.
I
would even take this subject to another level. In simple terms we don't
know what is truly good for our life. We may think we know but would we
give approval for God to sanction all of these strange hardships to
happen in our life? No
way because God sees our journey. Not only that but we would bargain
with God to less trials and most of the time God does not listen to this
because He knows what is good for us and we do not. God has put valleys
in my life that I would never agree to but it is not my choice.
Only God sees the whole picture from beginning to end. I used to think I saw my life but then realized the impossibility of this insight. That should be of great comfort to us because regardless as to what happens to us God is in the process of working out objective good for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose.

That should be of great comfort to us because regardless as to what happens to us God is in the process of working out objective good for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose.
If
life is going very fast and we don't understand what is happening to us
then think back to the meaning of this very important number (9) in the
Bible.
It
is more probable than possible that if a bad hardship comes our way as a
true Believer in Jesus Christ you will have the peace of God through
His Son Jesus Christ.
It
is very difficult for me to believe that anybody who understands this
principle that God is working "Good" in their life regardless as to what
"Bad" takes place then he or she would not have some peace of the Holy
Spirit flowing through their inner being.
There are two types of trials that can effect our life. Self imposed trials or foreordained trials. If we are true Believers in Jesus Christ don't you think it is pretty obvious that embracing our Savior and Lord would be the answer regardless as to how we arrived at this crisis in time. God works all things out for good for those that love Him and are called according to His purpose. If you don't believe me just read Romans 8:28.Sometimes when I study this number I have to remind myself that to grasp the magnitude of what God is doing is pretty much impossible; however, the principle of the wheat (true Believers in Jesus Christ) and the tares (Unbelievers) is a reality that starts in the book of Genesis and goes all the way into the book of Revelation. In fact it is the last book of the Bible that enhances the whole biblical meaning of nine as Believers and Unbelievers coexist together with a different purpose before and after the rapture of the Church.
I am so excited as I research this number in the Bible because there is indeed evidence that we are very close to the rapture of the Church from the backdrop of this subject. I would like to talk about that now but I can't because this would be putting the cart before the horse. I need to give you some background before I get to the foreground of end time biblical prophecy and current events.
Let me just say that the biblical interpretation of nine is very interesting because it has two meanings at the same time. Judgment for the unregenerate (Unbelievers) but a refining process for the regenerate (Believers in Jesus Christ) which ultimately leads to true fruit bearing for God.Most biblical numbers books seem to be one sided in that the author will take a position that nine exclusively means judgment from God. Another will say that this number is referring to fruit bearing for the true Believer in Jesus Christ. The problem with this approach is there are two different categories of people on the earth (Believers and Unbelievers) and the context of nine always speaks to "One" because God sees a born again saved person for the purpose of pruning away the bad through refinement. God in all of His love conforms His children to the image of His Son Jesus Christ.God sees an Unbeliever as separated from Him. To speak in blunt terms the Unbeliever is under judgment and the Believer is in boot camp. As I continue with this subject ask yourself one question. Why is it that good and evil cohabitate in this world right next to each other? Where are you in this scenario? A look into this subject will help us understand the answers to these questions.
One of the obvious things I can say is the number nine is the last of the unit digits. It seems pretty clear to me that a conclusion is implied.I can give you some examples to show you that nine in Scripture means judgment. In the ninth year of Nebuchadnezzar the house of God was burnt. In the day of Hosea Samaria was taken by the king of Assyria and Israel was carried away in the ninth year. It was the ninth hour that Jesus Christ died on the cross. Our Lord was being "Judged" for our sins. The New Testament is broken down into 3 sections of nine. The first nine books (Matthew to Galatians) seem to be Jewish in nature. The second nine books (Ephesians to Philemon) seem to be a collection of writings that is more to the gentile with overtones of the rapture of the church taking place in the last book (Philemon) which is the middle section ending the age of grace. The third section of nine (Hebrews to Revelation) is Jewish in tone. Hebrews starts the "Nine" remaining books describing and unveiling the mystery of Melchichek probably for the 144,000 Jews right before or at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period.James through Jude (books 2 through 8 of the last collection) in the New Testament describe each year of the tribulation prophetically (year 1 through 7) in chronological order from year 1 (James) and ending with year 7 (Jude). The book of Revelation is the "Ninth" book which primarily describes and focuses on the "Judgment" of God. It also focuses on objection good for the saints of God. By the way don't get intimidated if you have trouble understanding what I am saying. Just look for the simple meaning.
God looks at His children in a different way because they received the new birth (8) or accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Eight stands for our salvation experience in Jesus Christ. The biblical meaning of number nine goes deeper into our faith in our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
The judgment and objective good of nine Part Two
Revelation chapter "9" is the Tet chapter. The Tet is a hebrew letter which means-serpent; objective good-that which appears evil but for our improvement. After the rapture of the Church probably but I am not for certain (about the exact timing) a little before the middle of the 7 year tribulation period locusts from hell will have the power to sting because the Bible says "And it was commanded them that they, should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men who have not the seal of God in their foreheads." Revelation 9:4. New Believers in Jesus Christ will be protected from their harm; however, massive war will break out at the end of this chapter. Does this not describe the biblical meaning of the number 9 perfect? The Unbelievers who have not repented are being judged (9). The Believers in Jesus Christ are enduring the purpose of God for their objective good (which only God can define) so they can be refined and bear true fruit for God. The primary reason why God allows evil in this world is to refine His true children. I know this because the treasure of this truth is revealed in the meaning of the biblical number 9.
I am writing to many Christians that are watchers. By this I mean that they are looking for Jesus Christ to rapture them into heaven in accordance with several New Testament Scriptures. Two would be "(16) For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1st Thes. 4:16-17.Yes there is tangible evidence through the biblical meaning of 9 that we are very close to this event.
The Bible never foretells the destruction of Israel in the 7 year tribulation. In fact the Scriptures say just the opposite. God will preserve this country to go into the 1000 year earthly Kingdom; however, Matthew 24 clearly talks about the inhabitants of Israel during the tribulation running for their lives. "(16) Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains (17) Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house (18) Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes (19) And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (20) But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day (21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." Matthew 24:16-21.
In 1987 a world constitution was drafted in Lakewood Colorado. Many people gave their approval to this document believing it would be the cause for world peace. Some have obviously passed on but I don't think they realized that this is not what the Bible teaches. When this is implemented ( I believe after the rapture of the church ) the Scriptures say that the judgment of God progressively takes place on this planet. I think it is very interesting that Article "Nine" gives authority to place "judges" around the earth. As I already stated one of the meanings of the number nine in the Bible is the judgment of God. Is mankind trying to take the place of God as judge?
The number 9 is used 49 times in the Bible. In Leviticus 25 the whole chapter is talking about Sabbath years and the year of the Jubilee. Even in verse 8 the Bible says "And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee FORTY AND NINE YEARS. " Moses was talking about Sabbatical and Jubilee cycles. According to verse 21 of this chapter the ninth year bears fruit. Once again the number nine has two different meanings for two different groups of people. This is why I am able to flip back and forth and give you examples for the righteous and the unregenerate. On the one hand there is evidence that this world is close to the judgment of God. On the other hand there is ample evidence that born again Christians are being refined at an exponential rate in much pain and suffering because of all the testimonies I am hearing regarding trials and tribulations. This is "Good" because it is of God and real. This is how we truly grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We have the privilege of getting to know Him because of our suffering! Human nature does not seem to respond to God when everything is going well all the time. This is another reason why I believe the rapture is so close. So many Christians are going through trials that are so difficult. God must refine His children before the Blessed Hope takes place.

EIGHT AND OUR NEW BEGINNINGS PART ONE/
Eight and our new beginning in Jesus Christ Part One
As I study the meanings of numbers in the Bible, this is revealing to me because it shows the primary, practical and prophetic implication of Scripture at all different levels of the Bible. As I study the application of the number 8 in different biblical contexts, not only do I learn about Jesus Christ, myself but the prophetic plan of God is shown so clear as the eighth millennium of human history becomes very evident to me. God starts a sinless new Jerusalem on planet earth. "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." Revelation 21:1-2.
As I went over the meanings of numbers 1 through 7, this became exciting because I learned something about life, how I should respond and parts of the infinite wisdom of God. I was able to clearly see how near Christians are to the rapture and how close this world is to the 7 year tribulation period and the 1000 year millennial reign of Jesus Christ.
I studied this number and started to write about it but the words would not come out for some reason. I will confess to you that when God remains silent it is frustrating and sometimes even helpless. It turned out that the reason for the void was to make me think. The Holy Spirit impressed upon my heart that "Lord willing" (James 4:13-15) if I ever received the privilege of writing about this I will be explaining the meaning of the Hebrew word "Chet" which has a definition of a new beginning; new life; a meta physical letter above this existence.
The meaning of this number is the hope of "every" true believer in Jesus Christ. It is what us Christians should be showing an unregenerate world because the meaning of this number goes straight to the very heart and core of Jesus Christ.
If this study does not prompt an unbeliever to a holy jealousy as to what a Christian has both now and in the future, I would almost have to believe that an individual reading this article just simply would not have any interest in asking the Lord into his or her heart. I think you might see what I am talking about as I show you this supernatural, superabundant number that has its' origin in the very Person of Jesus Christ and speaks of that special intimacy that God has with His children.
The one thing that attracted me to Jesus Christ was not the fear of hell but the hope of knowing Him. Don't get me wrong, hell is a horrible place. By the way don't believe the slant of anybody who says that Hades is a bad country club. This is not what the Bible teaches. Going through part or all of the 7 year tribulation will be almost unbearable on planet earth. Both of these realities (the tribulation and hell) are the wrath of God.This time period is very close; however, as the article progress I believe readers will be so drawn to the love of Jesus Christ. I will explain the meaning of the number "888" especially from the backdrop of different contexts of Scripture which were written by numerous authors in different time periods of history yet they say the same thing. How could this be true? The Bible was written by the Holy Spirit. No person could portray the divine magnificence of this number (8) and the incomprehensible love of God if this were of earthy origin.
There are only three transcendent numbers in the Bible (1,8,and 50). This means these numbers are so holy that it is beyond the grasp of a human being to fully comprehend the magnificence and Splendor of God.
I said the meaning of this number is the hope of "every" person. Why would I make such a statement? The meaning of the number "8" is a new beginning in Jesus Christ. The old is abolished and the new stands in contrast as a gift from God through His Son, imparted freely to us better known as grace. I would like to go back to my original statement. It is the hope of every person. If a human being is not a true authentic sincere believer in Jesus Christ, he or she has an opportunity to accept Him into his or her heart. If an individual says "yes" then this person has a new beginning In Jesus Christ. If one is already a Christian then the opportunity to pursue new "beginnings" in Jesus Christ is available to him or her all the time. For the unbeliever it is a singular pursuit (beginning). For the believer it is a plural experience (beginnings).
I noticed that many of the articles I am reading focus on the prophetic signs of the times. These eager Christians are looking for the rapture of the Church (Blessed Hope). We are pursuing one of the many "new beginnings" in Jesus Christ. In my opinion, this one is the most exciting! We know our identity in that we were saved from our sins (we already had a new beginning in Jesus Christ) but we desire more because we love Him. We desire to be with Jesus Christ in heaven. The rapture very much involves the meaning of the number "8" and "888". What could be better than being airlifted (raptured) into heaven with Jesus Christ for all eternity?
When the Lord impresses upon my heart and says that this particular number "8" applies to everyone you are talking to, then I really start to think. This principle (the biblical meaning of the number 8) is worth seeking out because it involves the supernatural strength and resurrection of Jesus Christ in our lives. The pursuit level becomes more curious and intense as I study this subject. By the way this is why "watchers" look for the rapture of the Church. Our sense that the blessed hope is near will not only be true but real (a new beginning).
Many people will interpret me as doom and gloom. I never understood that because I have the "good news of Jesus Christ." Does being snatched (raptured) into the loving arms of Jesus Christ in heaven sound like bad news? The rapture is one of many new beginnings Christians have in Jesus Christ. The excitement of this prospect is worth searching because eternity is new as opposed to time being old. Solomon said "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." Eccl.1:9. He was referring to planet earth (old). Everything in this world is fading and dying.
We are called to new beginnings in Jesus Christ as we pursue our Savior and Lord because of His pure holy unconditional love. This motivates us to seek the Lord with all our heart. I hope we are inspired to learn more about this transcendent number in Scripture. This will have to end Part one of two. Tomorrow I will get far more specific with examples on why the meaning of this number "eight" is so important to us.

EIGHT AND OUR NEW BEGINNINGS PART TWO
We can look for the meaning of eight as a new beginning. We could also look at the understanding of eight as a new order.
I
thought about this point long and hard. Why would certain people desire
a new world order so bad? The devil runs this world."In whom the god of
this world hast blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the
light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should
shine unto them." 2nd Cor. 4:4. The devil ever since the rebellion in
heaven (eternity past) has always desired to usurp the throne of God.
The
number eight has a primary meaning of a new beginning in Jesus Christ.
Being born again (John 3:3). "Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see
the Kingdom of God."
Try and follow my logic on this thought. Satan being the great imitator desires his own version of the world being born again with a new world order - a beginning as it were. He desires to take the old and make it into something older. History is doomed to repeat itself. This is what the Bible teaches.

Read
Genesis chapter 11 regarding the tower of Babel. The whole world joined
as one in false worship and they all became confused and confounded in
speech. The devil is just saying it is new. All he can do is copy God
who is the originator of all things new and through His Son Jesus
Christ.
The reason why the number "8" is so important is because it actually shows us born again Believers in Jesus Christ who we are in all of His Resurrection Power because our Savior rose from the dead and was victorious over sin.
This world was beautiful before the fall but this first creation had more to do with the meaning of the number four. 4+4=8. Eight stands for our regeneration when we chose to receive salvation from Jesus Christ for our sins.

444
is the ultimate world number which has its' proof in Damascus (the
oldest city in the world). This principle is amplified when we look at
444 compared to 888. This particular city has a gematria value of 444
because the dwelling place is so steeped in history. If we were to
double 444+444=888.
As
I said this is the gematria equivalent of the sacred name of our Lord
Jesus Christ. Once again my point is if creation was beautiful (4; the
number of the world) than salvation ( 8; the number of being a new
creation through our resurrected Savior) then being born again through
Jesus Christ must be magnificent. The evidence is in the contrasting
numbers (4 compared to 8 or 444 compared to 888).
Can
you imagine what is in store for us after the rapture when we will
actually see with our own eyes what God has prepared for us? Blessings
beyond our ability to comprehend or experience because we will be in
heaven. "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither
have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him." 2nd Cor. 2:9.
here
are so many wonderful examples in the Bible to show us our new
beginning in Jesus Christ because of His wonderful grace that God has
toward us. Let me show you some examples of our warm loving Savior in
action as He explained a new beginning through Himself in numeric
context of Scripture.
Even as Christians if we are stuck in our problems
(4) and don't realize that we were saved (8) we leave Jesus Christ out
of our lives for all practical purposes. We will stay stuck. Sorry for the repeat but it is true.
This planet is not even our home. When Jesus was talking to Nicodemus in John chapter three he used the word born "8" times. Born again- a new creature and creation in Jesus Christ. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2nd Cor.5:17.
I would like to get a little more detailed about this subject manner. Jesus Christ had a conversation with Nicodemus which is found in John 3:1-8. The very word "Born" occurs "8" times. One in verse 3, two in verse 4, one in verse 5, two in verse 6, one in verse 7 and one in verse 8. 1+2+1+2+1+1 = 8.

The reason why the word "Born" was used "8" times is
because Jesus was describing to this man what a new beginning was all
about through Him.The number "8" describes a new creation we have in
Jesus Christ.
What most Believers really don't understand is the circumcision that was performed on a newly born child in the Old Testament was symbolic of our relationship with Jesus Christ ( a type of our new birth in Him). "He is not a Jew,which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter." Romans 2:28-29.This is also spoken of in Col. 2:11.

You see circumcision had to take place on the
"Eighth" day to picture our new birth (8) in Jesus Christ. This involves
our heart. This is how much God cares for us. A foreshowing was
necessary to explain that salvation in our Savior is not outward but
inward.
When we
accepted Jesus Christ He circumcised our heart in the spirit of our
inner being. Eight is a very intimate number in the Bible. The 8th time
Noah was mentioned in the Bible he was walking with God.
Jesus wanted to show His love for humanity so much that John chapter three was not enough to get His point across (the encounter with Jesus Christ and Nicodemus). In John chapter 4 Jesus Christ emphasized the very same theme but in a different way with the Samaritan women. She went to the well to get some water. Jesus knew exactly what to ask her. In John 4:7 He asked her for a glass of water.

In their conversion Jesus spoke to her about Him
being the "Living water." Guess how many times the word water is used in
this story? "Eight" times and the word well is mentioned "5" times
symbolizing the grace of God. Here we see the grace of God (the well) in
combination with the living water (5; grace and 8; a new beginning in
Jesus Christ).
This is what
the New Testament teaches. We come to God by faith through His grace (5)
and receive a new beginning (8) in Jesus Christ. The biblical numbers
in this story are perfect and consistent with the meanings from Genesis
to Revelation. "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no
variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 1:17. The signiture of God is a gift.
To look at this whole picture in general terms "8" people were risen from the dead in the Bible. Jesus Christ rose from the dead after His crucifixion on the first day of the week or the 8th day.

Notice
how eager the Samaritan women was to accept His new birth (8) into her
heart. She knew it was real. Jesus Christ changed her life. If you have
not come to know the Lord Jesus Christ don't you think He can give you
the exact same resurrection birth that this particular women received?
She was jumping up and down for joy. She could not hold the excitement
inside of her and had to tell everybody. Could we come to the conclusion
that her life was changed?
Remember the number 8 ties in with end time biblical prophecy. The 7th feast of tabernacles lasts for "8" days. Zechariah 14 says that during the 1000 year millennial reign of Jesus Christ people will have to give homage to Him once a year in Jerusalem. The "8" days is a prelude to the end of the 7th millennium for the start of the 8th day or the eighth millennium of human history from Adam upward to the end of the rule of Jesus Christ on planet earth.

"Eight" is a
transcendent number which has implication of no sin. At the start of the
"8th" millennium when the "New Jerusalem" comes down on planet earth
sin will be completely abolished according to Revelation chapters 20
through 22. The "Eight" days of the feast of tabernacles is symbolic of
our eternal rest in God.
This is why there were 7 and then in another area 8 steps in the temple of Ezekiel. Seven escorted a person to the outer court but eight lead from the origin of the outer to the inner court (7; rest, 8; advanced from rest to worship).

This
corresponds prophetically to the 7th and 8th millenniums of human
history. So many practical and prophetic examples that show the good
news of Jesus Christ from the backdrop of number "8" in the Bible.
I
look at John chapters 3 and 4 to see the emphasis of Jesus Christ, His
grace and a new beginning in Him. Jesus Christ desires people to invite
Him into their hearts. It is simple. He is just waiting for you with
incomprehensible eternal love.
If
you already made this decision then pursue new beginnings in Jesus
Christ. We are so close to the rapture of the Church. I am excited!
Choose
eternal life through Jesus Christ. We are not only destined to pursue
new beginnings in Jesus Christ in this world but when we get to heaven
the Bible says "That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding
riches of His grace in His Kindness toward us through Christ Jesus."
Eph.2:7. Exceeding riches, grace and kindness. This will always be a new
experience for us and it will never become old!
