“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4. The Apostle John is speaking to those individuals who belong to Jesus Christ. He addresses us as little children, which is a term of endearment; he goes on to admonish the brethren against dangers in the spiritual realm. John says “Ye are of God”, only those who are born again fall into this category. Because Christ has been victorious over His foes, we who belong to Him through faith can celebrate His victory over death as we too have victory. Therefore we have no reason to fear Christ’s foes. Why? We’ve been given the power to withstand them. That doesn’t mean Satan is through attacking believers. Quite the contrary, he is fully intent on crippling us in regards to our walk with Christ. How does he do this? His tactic is legendary because of its success.

 

Fear is the key to Satan’s flourishing but debilitating dark and sinister practices. Using fear as a weapon, Satan and his evil horde of minions have demonstrated enormous influence over the minds of many followers of Jesus Christ. Fear will ultimately eliminate the usefulness of a Christian in regards to their purpose which is to promote the Gospel to this lost world. Fear can weaken our resolve, while we are overcome with a sense of dread, terror, horror, which leads to panic in the face of adversity. Fear can freeze up our walk with Christ which is why fear is a preferred tool of the enemy.

 

Darkness instills fear, and the enemy is the lord of darkness. Just contemplating venturing out into the dark night can conjure up images in our minds of all sorts of ghouls and goblins. God never glorifies darkness. Why? Because it is the realm of the malevolent supernatural – ever wonder why we can’t see in the dark? Ever wonder why as soon as we switch on the light or the sun begins to peak over the horizon we then become at ease and relieved of fear? “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good:” Genesis 1:3-4a. God proclaims the light good. But try as we might we can’t find where God specifically declares the darkness as good. The Hebrew word “choshek”, translated into English as “darkness”, can also mean “obscurity, to obscure, or confuse”. From the word obscurity we get “gloom, spiritual unreceptively, and calamity”. Darkness breeds confusion; and that is Satan’s playground. This is where fear becomes enabled in our psyche. 

 

Remember when I speak of Satan and his seeking to destroy us, I’m also referring to hordes of malevolent helpers he has at his disposal. Satan is not God, it’s impossible for him to work alone. When you give some thought to who he is you come to the conclusion that he is only a very poor excuse for a supernatural being. But like I said, his powers of persuasion are legendary.

 

Satan capitalizes on the fear factor in everyone, but especially in those who have given their lives to Christ. He maximizes fear to its highest level, this begins a process of eroding our confidence, which leads to an attitude of defeat. When fear is enabled, even for a moment, we become a person with a disability. Our “fearful” disabilities becomes a stronghold for the enemy, and consider this, the enemy never rests. 

 

Fear can convince us to change course, take another path, even to persuade us to discontinue certain aspects of our Christian walk. Through fear the Christian can be consumed with doubt, doubt that will focus on the denial of what God has promised those who will keep the faith. As born again believers in Christ, God has placed His Holy Spirit within us. So really, what is there to fear? God is greater than any of His foes. His Holy Spirit is not a subset of a greater God, He is God.

 

Scary stuff will always arise in our lives, but it’s when we allow those scary things to manifest into fears to be inculcated into our minds that we are actually permitting the enemy a firm hold on our lives. The demonic supernatural presence surrounding us knows full well how fear cripples. Most people will attempt to dismiss any thought of demons as pure myth and will relegate anyone who believes in the demonic to the realm of lunatics on the fringe of society. This is, of course, exactly what Satan wants. Christians should know better.

 

“Fear not” is a phrase which is given numerous times in the scriptures as an admonishment to encourage us. Yet many Christians become overwhelmed with fear to the point that they are stricken with mental paralysis. Why? As believers in Christ we need not be fearful of anything worldly nor should we fear the supernatural. People tell me that they, at times, have been too afraid to speak up for Jesus. This fear is one of perception; they fear those who don’t believe. They fear being mocked, ridiculed, or subjected to some other form of mental persecution.

 

Do you love Him? Seriously, do you love Him? Would you even have to think twice about standing up for your spouse or children? No! We would be fearless in such a case. Why then, when the world threatens our family are we fully prepared to defend them but in the case of someone attacking our greatest love, our glorious blessed Hope (Jesus the Christ) do we remain silent? Because Satan has already established a stronghold of fear in the lives of many of Jesus’ followers?

 

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” Luke 21:25. The above verse is a small example of what people will be experiencing in the last days before the Lords return, days which will be filled with perplexity. Perplexity causes men to become confused and disorientated, unable to make decisions. Which causes them to have doubts about which way to go. The very next verse tells it all “Men's hearts failing them for fear,” Luke 21:26. Perplexity leads to fear, which leads to the failing of hearts. 

 

The poisonous darts of the enemy will increase in the last days and those who have rejected the Lord Jesus will become a powerful resource for the enemy to draw from. A state of fear placed upon the “in Christ” believer will only serve the enemy in these last days. When God says “fear not” He’s telling us we have nothing to fear as we are His children. God delights in lighting our paths as He guides us through the darkness.

 

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me...” Psalm 23:4. Who can forget the 23^rd Psalm; most of us have it memorized. It is a comfort to repeat it, even more so in the face of adversity. We fear no evil. Why? Because thou art with us, O God. The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted. Psalm 18:46. Jesus is the rock and shield for all those who follow Him. When the enemy attacks, Jesus is our strength because carnal weapons will do us no good. When we are compassed about by the enemy and his minions who revel in darkness, God and His holy angels are with us, but in numbers of such magnitude the enemy doesn’t stand a chance. At that point the enemy cowers and makes a speedy retreat. God will never walk away from a fight to protect His children.

 

If we allow doubt to creep in through fear the enemy finds an easy target to destroy. Destruction of the human race is what the enemy is all about. By filling the children of God with fear, the enemy will facilitate his goal of convincing many to follow him straight into Hell. The more fearful Christians are the less promoting of the Gospel gets accomplished. 

 

We who follow Jesus with all our heart are His emissaries. As such we carry a message from God to be delivered to anyone who God chooses to place in our path. That message is a message of hope. No matter how tough it gets while we sojourn this world we mustn’t allow fear to dominate us or we will be consumed with it and doubt will be a natural outcropping. We are told to hold fast to the faith. “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)” Hebrews 10:23.

 

Here’s a little reminder I believe is appropriate at this juncture. Neglecting the study of God’s word, leaves us wide open for the enemy’s shenanigans. Satan will dominate the life of a believer when that believer ignores God. God speaks to us through His word. We can never overcome fear unless we trust God and rely on His inerrant word. Disobedient children are always going to run into problems or obstacles that seem insurmountable because they’ve lost their focus on their greatest love. I assure you, true Bible study will turn into a habit that you will love and never break.

Jesus unabashedly tells His disciples what fear is – it’s a lack of faith. “And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” Mark 4:40. In this verse Jesus tells His disciples that they are faithless. There is nothing resembling faith in their actions as they allowed the fear of perishing to consume them. At that point in time His disciples still hadn’t recognized who Jesus really was, but today His followers know exactly who He is, fear and doubt should be the furthest thing from our minds. 

 

“Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear:” Psalm 27:3. David was a man who at various times was surrounded by his enemies, yet we’ve learned that he was also a man who was fully reliant on God for his strength. David was fearless as he stood up for his God. How can we be any less fearless as we stand up for Christ, after all, are we not children of the Most High God? The malevolent armies that surround us, relentless as they are, are in battle with the Lord of all creation. Although they pursue us with an unholy determination to destroy us, as we move into the mode of combatant we must always remember that the actual physical battle belongs to the Lord. Our weapon of choice is prayer.

 

“The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Psalm 34:7. Here we’re told that those who belong to the Lord have nothing to fear from God’s enemies. Why? We are encompassed round about by a multitude of godly angels and they are here for the guarding of the saints – we’re protected on every side. The battle rages, the enemy is relentless, but he is powerless against obedient godly angels.

 

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For  the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. There is no room for fear in the life of a born again believer “in Christ” – fear only leads to an unfulfilled life. “Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not.” Lamentations 3:57.

JUDE, ENOCH, AN THE HYBRIDS

Jude, Enoch, and the Hybrids

The response to my commentary “Hybrids” was phenomenal. There were many questions, but the main question was whether or not I believe hybrids are living among us today. I will attempt to answer that question and many more throughout this commentary.

 

“And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” Genesis 6:12. The worst case scenario was coming to fruition. God was about to destroy the population of planet earth including every beast with more water than they could have ever imagined possible. Were they clueless as to what was coming? “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;” 2 Peter 2:5. It’s interesting that the Apostle Peter points out that Noah was a preacher, yet Noah’s preaching obviously had no effect on the rest of the antediluvian world.

 

There seems to be little difference in the mindset of today’s populous as we review and compare the events of that antediluvian world. There’s little notice by today’s societies of the events that parallel the ancient past. Most don’t even believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob let alone a flood that wiped out billions. Students of prophecy are increasingly warning the world that now is the time to prepare for their eternal destination as humanity is currently living in these very precarious end times, but are they listening?

 

 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Matthew 24:12. Here we’re confronted with the sad but quite serious reminder that in the last days because of thriving wickedness the love of many will grow cold. The phrase “wax cold” comes from the Greek word “psychō”, which means to blow cold. Metaphorically the phrase “wax cold” is used in the sense of waning zeal or love. Jesus warns us that the love of many will vanish in the final days of planet earth. The tragic results of humanistic, atheistic “we evolved from pond scum” teachings that have permeated societies for decades have certainly taken their toll. What we are witnessing in our society today has been encroaching on us for many years. Is the waxing cold of the human heart finally coming to a crescendo? Or is this the onslaught of a soulless generation of hybrids being unveiled? A little food for thought.

 

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12:4. The seal has been removed from Daniels book and knowledge is increasing. I believe that some of that knowledge is buried in Jude’s epistle – a little one chapter book that really packs a wallop.

 

Before you read any further, I must interject that if you have aligned yourself with the wrong interpretation of the book of Genesis chapter 6 you will misinterpret the book of Jude. When we understand the truth that a corrupting influence invaded humanity at that particular point in the time/space continuum (the antediluvian world), we can then anticipate and prepare ourselves for what’s coming. The similarities of that ancient world and ours today are striking.

 

I will summarize Jude’s little epistle. Occasionally I’ll insert the Greek word and the deeper meaning behind that word for emphasis as we seek the revealing of God’s truth.

 

Jude begins his epistle with an admonishment. We are to earnestly contend for the faith that was once delivered to the saints. There’s a good reason for this as Jude is going to take us on a journey into a very evil world – a world of the malevolent supernatural. He’s going to be referring to the last days just prior to the return of Jesus Christ, but he will also take us back in time.

 

Concerning those last days something very wicked is going to raise its ugly head and our faith will be attacked – aggressively. To Jude it’s a future event; but to us today the event is here. Jude is adamant that wickedness will be so invasive that we, the saints of God, will find it difficult but necessary to earnestly contend for our faith. The original Greek word used by Jude for the phrase “earnestly contend” is “epagōnizomai” which means “to contend about a thing, as that of a combatant”. Jude suggests that we move into this combatant mode with renewed zeal. How do we do that? Guns and knives will not suffice against the supernatural, nor will they do much good against a generation of enhanced Hybrids. You might want to take a moment here and study Ephesians chapter 6.

 

Jude points to a certain something coming upon the scene in the last days. In the King James Version of our English Bible we read “certain men” crept in “of old”, “ungodly men”. According to the Greek word “tis”, which is rendered in English as “certain”, these were not necessarily men. As you will see throughout the entirety of Jude’s epistle he’s speaking of something quite different than mere men. They were “of old” which points to another era of humanity’s past. They were ungodly, which when we look at the original Greek word we find it means they held no reverence for God. If they weren’t men what were they?

 

They crept in stealthily and craftily. When we read that word craftily it should remind us of Genesis chapter 3 “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made” Genesis 3:1. The Hebrew word for “subtil” means “subtle, shrewd, crafty, sly”. Sound familiar? It should, Jude is referring to the same type of “being”. You might be asking yourself why is Jude referring to “beings” of the past. He’ll get to that directly.

 

“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” Jude 1:4. Jude is not referring to false teachers as many Bible teachers promote, but to “beings” of old who rejected the grace of God and turned that grace into unbridled lust, excess, licentiousness, lasciviousness, wantonness, outrageousness, shamelessness, insolence, which is their nature.

 

“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:6-7. Jude references the antediluvian period by explaining what happened to the angels who were involved in that first incursion into our world. They were punished for their wickedness by God and are currently held in chains until the judgment. It’s interesting that Jude lumps Sodom and Gomorrha in with those fallen angels of Noah’s day.

 

When we realize that Satan cannot be working alone in this world as he is not God, we can then come to grips with the fact that he still has an innumerable army of fallen angles ready to do his bidding. It’s not hard to then come to the conclusion to which Jude is guiding us; fallen angels will again participate in the same kind of corruption the others were involved with before the flood.

 

Genesis chapter 6 tells us that “There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.” Genesis 6:4. The words “and also after that” remind us that the evil of that era would continue. The cities of Sodom and Gomorrha had become extremely wicked because the same kind of supernatural malevolent incursion occurred then as in the pre-flood world.

 

The mention of going after strange flesh is another obvious allusion to the antediluvian world. Jude is speaking of the lust-filled attitude of fallen angels. Men, too, had given themselves over to fornication and went after strange flesh. The Greek words “heteros sarx” (strange flesh) speak of various types of flesh, not all human, and following the context of his epistle Jude is reintroducing us to a “being” that is not human. With the Greek word “sarx” we see Jude referring to the animal nature, animalistic cravings. Jude speaks of the complete corruption of the body, while participating in extremely egregious sexual activity. The men and women of Sodom and Gomorrha, as well as the surrounding cities, had completely corrupted themselves through the wicked influence of fallen angles.

 

The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrha was sudden and final, their fall didn’t just occur overnight. The wickedness that brought down all those cities took generations of corruption. There must be no misunderstanding here; Jude is not speaking of false teachers leading their congregations astray. Just so there is no confusion, Jude continually reminds us to whom he is referring.

 

They are brute beasts, living creatures whose vocabulary is nothing but blasphemies uttered continually, and yet they have no intimate knowledge of who or what they are blaspheming. They are senseless as they continually corrupt themselves in all their ways like animals who know not sin. They are prideful, soulless beasts. The corruption of the human race is their agenda. They are like a spot that spoils everything, like leaven it permeates the whole of whatever it is put into. This spoiling leaven destroys lives by diminishing then eliminating the love people have for one another. Jude explains that these “beings” are void of feelings, void of any good intentions; they are without natural love and affection. They are essentially the walking dead.

 

Jude is warning the last days Church of evil so reprehensible they must be prepared for combat. He explains that these beings are living and growing wild and savage in the fields or woods; some will resemble men but they are animals, fierce and boorish, rude, full of violent passion, vehement, furious, and uncontrollable. They are tossed to and fro by their raging restless passions, foaming out like refuse worthy of the fire and nothing else. Their actions are shameful, yet they have no shame. They are disgraceful and have no honor. Who are they? They are the progeny of fallen angels roaming the land without fear of where they are heading.

 

Jude’s quote from the book of Enoch is very telling. The evil that had spread throughout the antediluvian world in Enoch’s day was cause for him to be given insight into the future last day’s events prior to the judgment. He saw the Lord Jesus coming with an innumerable number of His saints to execute His judgment on all the ungodly fallen angels and their ungodly progeny – along with all humankind who’ve rejected the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Then Jude reminds the Church of the words of the Apostles that these things would occur in the last days; that these animalistic brutes would once again invade humanity and corrupt the populous of earth through their sexual escapades. These beings, being void of spirit, would inhabit the earth for a season but would ultimately perish forever in the fires of Hell.

 

I believe the hybridization of the human genome is the key to the ever increasing wickedness that has been with humankind for thousands of years, and it continues unabated today. Without a doubt we can trace this phenomenon back to the antediluvian world. There is no indication that humanity today has even the slightest concept that this progressive and very aggressive co-mingling of beings of two distinct dimensions is occurring – other than the constant talk of transhumanism, which by the way seems to be a road many are willing to take. In the antediluvian world this corruption didn’t just happen over a period of a few decades but was actually initiated during Adam’s day, at least a thousand years prior to the flood. The last days began in the time of the Apostles; this wickedness that we see escalating today has been stealthily (craftily) increasing for thousands of years. 

 

What we think we know from mankind’s past has deceived many into rejecting the truth of scriptures. It’s time to embrace God’s truth and re-evaluate our own understanding of the events of the antediluvian world. Never mind how it makes you feel, feelings can be deceiving. The truth is, what happened during the pre-flood era has returned in our day and is burgeoning. 

 

What these supernatural beings began in humanity’s past is simply a continuation of the contamination of that pre-deluge world – what they’ve been planning since the serpent deceived Eve. These “malevolent beings” are bent on fulfilling their leader’s ultimate goal, the conclusion to human existence. Their modus operandi is to steal, kill, and destroy. They are the fallen angels, they are here, and they are intertwined with humanity for a reason, to beget an ungodly progeny of hybrid (Nephilim), fully demonic, soulless beings. They aren’t necessarily appearing as giants these days but are actually being developed to look like humans, so much so that we can’t easily tell them apart from the rest of humanity. At least not until they begin to demonstrate superhuman traits.

 

These beings are beginning to expose themselves to the scrutiny of the public’s eye in ways we would never have imagined. I was reading a book, “The Cosmic Chess Match” by L.A. Marzulli, in which he includes a very interesting video link http://documentaryheaven.com/madness-in-the-fast-lane/. Take the time to watch it as it is both frightening and enlightening. Is this event an isolated occurrence? Probably not.

 

We are witnessing the unfolding of prophecy. For the saints, it won’t be much longer. The clouds of war are amassing, the armies of the prince of the power of the air are at the door, all the players are set, and the end is in sight. “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:” 2 Peter 2:9.

AMERICA CELEBRATES 54 MIILLION ABORTIONS

America Celebrates 54 Million Abortions 2/9/2012 “These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” Proverbs 6:16-19. (Emphases mine) People of the United States of America, you are on notice that your God, the God of the Bible, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob does not simply turn a “blind eye” to abortion – there will be consequences. Murder is very offensive to your God. Make no mistake, He is your God; whether or not you recognize Him as such is inconsequential to His judgment. You can’t just wish Him away. He’s here to stay. His creation is admonished to live by His precepts which are perfect, permanent, and everlasting – to be exact they were etched in stone with God’s own finger. God gave the commandment “Thou shalt not kill” Exodus 20:13. The Hebrew word “ratsach” is translated into English as “kill” but it actually means murder – premeditated murder, so the commandment should read “Thou shalt not murder.” “I remain committed to protecting a woman’s right to choose” - Barack Hussein Obama. President Obama, along with many Americans, just celebrated the murder of 54 million babies on January 22, 2012. I wonder how they celebrated. Did they pop the cork on some champagne bottles? Did they toast each other’s murderous achievements? Did they put on a feast, and invite all their friends? Here’s what they didn’t do. They didn’t visit the grave sites of the innocent murdered babies? They didn’t repent for the biggest government sanctified mass murder of the ages? They didn’t weep from broken hearts like God does every single time a baby is murdered in the womb? Apparently women have no remorse after this murderous deed is done, and men who encourage this murderous act know even less remorse. Men and women make decisions; one of those decisions is to participate with one another in the act of sexual intercourse. This is where the choice ends. Once that act is accomplished they’ve made their choice. When pregnancy ensues, there is no further choice for the women or the man to make concerning that baby, other than what color to paint the baby’s room. There’s a God ordained life growing which must never be terminated by man. Man has no right to terminate a life that God has intended for His purpose. Abortion is the only crime where the innocent victim receives the death penalty, and the guilty go free. God is perfect and His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. When we consider it prudent to kill babies in the womb we would do well to consider God’s position on that subject first. “Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;” Isaiah 44:24. God has known every baby that’s been murdered in the womb “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;” Jeremiah 1:5. “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,” Ephesians 1:4. Before God laid the foundation of the world He knew every human being who would ever be formed in their mother’s womb. Life is a gift from God, all aborted (murdered) babies are fully known by God. They are His children and He loves them – and His desire was that each of these babies would enjoy a life on earth filled with His innumerable blessings. But man made the decision to play god and took those lives away before they had a chance to see the world God had created for them. To murder the innocent is an abomination in the sight of God – to murder 54 million means that particular nation is in for some very harsh judgment. In other words, God sees the murder of the unborn as a disgusting wickedness – evidence that He needs to cleanse the land of the murderous. Let there be no mistake, judgment is coming. Abortion is the ending of a life through premeditated means. Abortion is murder in its ugliest form. These were babies not simply fetuses; they are human beings in developmental stages of life with God ordained rights. They were to live and grow, to learn and to love, to become what God wanted them to become, they were to be a meaningful part of society. Satan has his hands in every aspect of the lives of mankind. Man murders babies in the womb to cut down on unwanted pregnancies? This is of course a lie. Genocide is at the heart of abortion, the genocide of the human race. The whole concept of abortion is satanic to the core. Anyone who would celebrate 54 million murders of innocent babies while these babies were still growing in their mother’s womb resides fully in Satan’s camp. God knows the heart of every human being on this planet and there are many who are attempting to pull the wool over His eyes in many different aspects of life. But God cannot be fooled and those individuals who murder babies in the womb will pay for their wickedness. We might profess all day long that we are followers of Jesus Christ, but if our heart isn’t in on that profession it will show by the fruit of our actions. (America celebrates 54 million abortions.) If we stand against God’s precepts how then can we be following the Lord Jesus Christ? After becoming a born again believer in Christ there is always a change that followers; that change includes a repentant heart, because God doesn’t just change our heart He gives us a new heart. Continuing to murder babies in the womb after claiming to be a Christian would be an indisputable sign certainly of the lack of repentance. Love one another is one of God’s paramount commandments. “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15. What commandments, you might ask. “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.” John 15:12. If a person is to believe the Bible, and believe in its Author, then clearly the murder of innocent babies in the womb is in direct opposition to the above two verses. If we love Jesus the Christ, our Savior and Lord, then we must keep His commandments. We are to love one another unconditionally. That would, of course, include babies still in their mother’s womb. “And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech” Leviticus 18:21. Molech was the god of the Ammonites and Phoenicians. They sacrificed their children to this god and some Israelites sacrificed their infants to this very same god in the valley of Hinnom. America celebrated the murder of 54 million babies sacrificed to this very same god of sex. Molech is just one of the names of the god of this world. Most of us recognize his name as Lucifer/Satan. When we study the history of various ancient civilizations we find many were very perverse in their nature as they participated in these incredibly sick rituals while appeasing their satanic god. Those who occupied the land that God gave to the Israelites were just this sort of people. “(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you. For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.” Leviticus 18:27-29. As America moves even further into the realm which God refers to as abominations she will soon see that as Chuck Missler likes to say, and I agree, “God says what He means and means what He says.” We have defiled our land just like those people who were sacrificing their children to their god Molech. We have defiled our land by murdering 54 million innocent unborn babies, and make no mistake, in God’s eyes there’s no difference between abortion (murder) and sacrificing new born babies to the god Molech. Those ancient peoples were spued out of their land and God gave that land to the Israelites, while warning them not to participate in the same abominations or they too would be spued out of that land. Here’s something interesting, those people who God had destroyed as He moved the Israelites in were in that land for over 400 years before the Israelites moved in. Here in America we murdered 54 million babies just since 1973. I doubt America will ever see 400 years of existence; quite frankly I have my doubts about even another year coming to pass. If we are still here a year from now, then next year on January 22nd, we, as a nation will complete 40 years of government sanctioned murders. Throughout the past forty years pro-lifers have been unsuccessful in their attempts to bring a stop to all the carnage. But from what we just read concerning those who defile the land, God knows how to put a stop to those who cause abominations. We’ve defiled our land and God is about to show us the door. In Hebrew the phrase “cut off” actually means to “put to death”. Those that lost their homes and land to the Israelites weren’t just booted out of their own country they were completely wiped out – destroyed – to the last man, woman, and child. Why? Because they had become fully corrupted; generation after generation participated in the murdering of innocent babies and committing other abominations as well, such as homosexuality and bestiality. Does anyone else see any similarities in that ancient civilization and ours today? With a clear conscience and knowing that God says what He means and means what He says, can we honestly say God won’t judge America? Should Barack Obama be reelected to another term, next year in 2013 just two days after he’s sworn into office, I’m sure he will be celebrating once again the murder of the unborn just as he does every year. With all the help he’s given to the abortion mill America may be celebrating 60 million murders of unborn babies. Will that finally be the end of the longsuffering of our God and Savior, Jesus the Christ? Will justice prevail? Absolutely. Judgment is upon this defiled land, and a cleansing is imminent. “…for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.” 2 Peter 2:19b. If I was the devil and I wanted to motivate people toward a certain goal to bring them to a point of full bondage to me, what tool could I incorporate into their lives to control their minds, hearts, even their very souls? T.E.L.E.V.I.S.I.O.N. What a concept; a tool that would start out to be so very innocuous but would grow to become a highly successful manipulator. After all, it’s always on.



Every Christian believer knows full well that it is Satan’s intent to remove God from the minds of men - period. Just look how much freer Satan is now that he’s able to introduce subjects more in line with humanities sinful nature and desires, without condemnation or much resistance, all through the medium of television. The enemy of mankind has created a “leisure time” product that has now infiltrated every home, and what a potential for leading the masses astray. Television has become the full-on corrupting influence of a major segment of earth’s society. Television now dominates the human mind and heart. What better source of influence than television to bring evil right into the living room of every home?



Most children today are brought up in homes where watching TV is a way of life. In many homes television has become the family baby sitter. This includes many Christian homes as well. Does anyone reading this commentary honestly believe programmed television has had a positive effect on humanity? That’s like saying Satan has had a positive effect on humanity. “Well Ron, we have to take some bad with the good”. Do we? When humankind capitulates to the enemy it only enhances Satan’s position as corrupter in chief. Taking the bad with the good only further enables the bad. A mustard seed of corruption is as leaven in a loaf of bread; eventually it will permeate the whole loaf.



In today’s culture it’s almost unheard of to go anywhere in public where there isn’t a television disrupting the peace. Department stores, restaurants, gas stations, tire outlets you name it, television is always on and it’s thriving. We’ve been programmed to watch television every waking moment, and to believe in its content. All the while our minds are being polluted with the god of this world’s concepts of good vs. evil. Conversely, his concepts of good and evil are both equally evil.



The following is a quote from a recent article on the Fox News website: “TV producers look for ever-more salacious and twisted reality plot lines. Reality TV is cheap to make and producers battle to find the most bizarre plot line that appeals to devils of our nature. It would be nice to find something on TV that is uplifting and inspiring, not depraved and abusive,” said Dan Gainor, Vice President of the Business and Media Institute. “To the entertainment industry, there is no such thing as ‘too far,’ so making fun of young grandmothers and pregnant teens is par for the course.”



“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.” 2 Peter 2:20. By becoming entangled in the world of the satanic television, humanity is being systematically drawn away from God, away from our Lord Jesus Christ. Television corrupts, and although many have been introduced to the knowledge of the Lord, the entanglement into the pollutions of television becomes overpowering as that influence outweighs any other. Why? Because televisions are always on, while Bibles remain closed. Here’s a simple rule to gauge your television addiction. Ask yourself these two questions. First, what’s the first thing you reach for every morning? The remote or your Bible. And second, what’s the last thing you put down each night before bed? The remote or your Bible. Overcoming the demonic influence in your very own home can be a daunting task as television becomes embedded into your very nature.



“…and to keep himself unspotted from the world.” James 1:27b. The world loves television. In His word, God tells us to refrain from becoming defiled (unspotted) by the world. We have become an idolatrous generation creating our very own god which we cherish. People are predisposed to follow their god no matter what kind of idol that god turns out to be. The god of this world promotes his agenda through the medium of television. He and his lackeys pump mankind with deceptions that in turn men begin to believe; thus when presented with the truth of the Word of the One true God, that truth is regarded as fantasy or myth. Many today, because of the adverse influence of television, look at God’s Word similar to the way they would look at a children’s book of fairytales.



The world is upside down. Through the systematic infiltration of programmed television into our homes, we’re being taught that every form of wickedness is now acceptable in our new and enlightened society. On the forefront of wickedness is worldwide acceptance of abortions – murdering the innocent unwanted. Next is the newly created belief that the act of homosexuality is natural – even God ordained . My brethren, this should not be so .



Satan knows full well that to entangle us in his deceit he mustn’t simply offer sleaze as far as television programming goes, but that to influence us to a point of addiction he must also incorporate stories that touch the heart strings of humanity These plus breaking news stories of world events are all intentional to keep us glued to our chair as we stare at that inanimate object in the corner of the room, many times to the exclusion of all else.



On the surface television seems innocuous. But do you sense that the inception of television was a well thought out plan? If you answered yes then your senses are working fine because it was a very well thought out plan. The problem is it’s a satanic plan created to entice us while polluting our minds. It entraps us and brings us into submission to the god of this world – to fulfill his agenda. Humanity has become so engrossed with programmed television that Satan now has them for all seasons. Today most people are so ensnared in their relationship with their television that that piece of furniture has become their god – satanic as it is.



People today want more entertainment than ever before. Television has been designated to be the force that fulfills that desire, and they don’t even need to leave their living rooms. I’ve spoken with many people who agree with me that programmed television is a perversion and that we should not be watching it – especially those who claim to follow Jesus Christ. Yet these same folks continue to watch their desired programs – they are addicted. A line from the movie “Fireproof” would fit quite well here, “Watch out for parasites.”



A while back there was a concept promoted with very little fanfare, or acceptance for that matter, and that was, “If you don’t like what you’re watching turn the channel”. Well that didn’t work because Satan is fully involved and he put the trash on every channel. Next a new promotion with basically the same concept was, “Just turn it off if you don’t like it”. That too was short lived because people were already so completely addicted to programmed television that they couldn’t just turn it off. Finally there was cable and people could order the programming they wanted, but it was bundled with offensive programming so they had to pay for the bad to get the good (remember we’re talking about a media outlet that Satan has designed to fit his parameters). Most would call this entrapment.



In 1995 when I became a Christian I was addicted to television. But it gradually occurred to me that I was watching a plethora of filth. Not only that, but as I began to realize and embrace my role as the spiritual leader of my family, I also became fully aware of the satanic influence I was allowing my wife and our daughter to be filled with. On Sunday morning we would head off to Church to worship with likeminded believers, but all week long our minds had been filled with the refuse supplied by the god of this world instead of the word of God. In the year 2000 (yes it took five years) my wife and I made the decision to never again bring programmed television into our home. Our youngest daughter was 10 years old and the things we were watching on television were so very offensive that we just couldn’t allow our daughter to be satanically influenced.



When programmed television was eliminated in the Graham home, Bible study became our focus. What an eye opener that has been for us. Now, some twelve years later, I’m able to share my God given understanding of the Bible with millions of people around the world. I’ve honored God with my persistence in studying His word while eliminating that satanic influence in my family’s life. Satan hates me because I follow Jesus Christ, but he despises me because I’ve turned my back on his influence. Yes, we still own a television, a video player, and a DVD player and we will occasionally watch a movie. But we are not inundated with the filth that the god of this world has designated for all homes to be saturated with. We refuse him and his invasion into our lives. There is nothing godly about programmed television.



Most people, including Christians, can easily give the score of the latest professional sports matchup but have no idea who Levi is in the Bible. Can we not see that this is intentional? Satan does not want us to read our Bibles, let alone actually study them. Therefore he’s given us an alternative, which is television – a venue that is not only distracting but most people will derive much more pleasure from television than from studying their Bibles. Satan has been very successful at distracting people and leading them away from God. Certainly Christians should see this evil. Sadly many don’t, and won’t. So let me ask you, my friend, what does the Bible say about being led astray? “I don’t know, I’ve been watching television”. That’s a truthful answer, but it’s a sad commentary on Bible study.



“…and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:” 1 Peter 3:15. How many Christians do you know who can give an answer for the hope that lies within them? For that matter, how many Christians do you know, personally, who are able to give a sufficient answer to a nonbeliever’s inquiry concerning the validity of the Bible? “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” 2 Timothy 4:2. I wonder how many Christians today understand what it means to preach the word, or how many are always ready with all longsuffering to reprove, rebuke, and exhort using correct doctrine. My guess is not many .



So, what do we do about gleaning information concerning current events without the television blaring in the corner of the room? There are alternatives. Some are not much better than television. Believe me, the god of this world has his hands in every form of media. But there are still newspapers with world reports, magazines, books, and radio. Most people have computers and can visit many websites that offer a huge amount of breaking news and other content without being infected with Satan’s shenanigans. But let me just add, if you seek the filth you will find it. Satan guarantees it.



T.E.L.E.V.I.S.I.O.N. is an acronym for “The Evil Lies Everywhere Visible In Satan’s Invasive Offensive Nonsense”. Don’t fall for his deceptions, they are many and they are destructive. We are admonished in God’s word to separate ourselves from the world, but how do we do that when we are so addicted to the things of the world? One way to break the addiction is to come to grips with the satanic influence being assimilated into our lives. My wife and I realized the adverse effect that television was having on our daughter early on, and we were determined that while she was a child we would do everything possible to eliminate that pervasive wickedness which was coming into the sanctuary of our home through programmed television. By doing so God strengthened our own resolve to eliminate that segment of the satanic influence in our lives and bring Bible study to the forefront. We also homeschooled our daughter which added a huge amount of responsibility to our everyday lives, but it was well worth it in the long run. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. We watch our youngest child today at age 22 growing into the young women we always wanted her to become. And we are sure that’s what God wanted also.



I can’t say it any plainer than this, turn off the television and your life will change for the better as you learn to honor God in all you view and all you do.
